This is a rare authentic 19-20th Burmese (Shan State) pedestal / bed for a reclining Buddha. This is a rare Asian art work from an estate. The owner travelled extensively to SE Asia and is very familiar with SE Asian Art and Antiques. The piece is in very good condition. Very nice inlaid glass work on teak wood with polychrome. Circa early 1900s. The dimensions are (approximately): 36 inches (36″) long, 16 inches (16″) tall, and 15 inches (15″) deep.
